Thai Cooking Class

Students bring their Thai lessons to life through a fun, hands-on cooking session where they prepare two of Thailand’s most famous dishes: Som Tum (spicy papaya salad) and Pad Thai. As they follow each step of the recipes, they use the Thai vocabulary and phrases they have learned in class to describe ingredients, give instructions, and talk about taste and texture.

This class is designed to make language learning interactive, immersive, and culturally meaningful. Every stage of the cooking process, from pounding papaya in the mortar to stir-frying noodles in the wok, is conducted in Thai. This encourages students to speak naturally and build confidence in real-life communication.

By combining language learning with authentic Thai cultural experiences, students not only improve their speaking skills but also gain a deeper understanding of Thailand’s culinary traditions. The session is filled with laughter, teamwork, and delicious food, making it an engaging and memorable way to learn Thai.
