CEFR Test Preparation Workshop

LCIC Conducts CEFR Test Preparation Workshop for Faculty of Pharmacy

The Language Center for International Communication (LCIC), Siam University, successfully conducted the CEFR Test Preparation Workshop for faculty members and staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy. The workshop was designed to strengthen participants’ English language proficiency while preparing them for the Chulalongkorn University Test of English Proficiency (CU-TEP), the English proficiency assessment recognized by Siam University.

The workshop focused on developing practical English communication skills aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Participants were introduced to the CEFR framework, gained an understanding of the CU-TEP test structure and assessment criteria, and explored effective strategies for improving grammar, vocabulary, listening, and reading skills.

Through interactive activities, authentic practice materials, and guided discussions, participants learned practical test-taking techniques, time management strategies, and approaches to answering CU-TEP questions with greater confidence. The workshop also emphasized applying English communication skills in academic and professional contexts.

Feedback from participants reflected a positive learning experience, with many appreciating the practical examples, engaging teaching approach, and useful examination strategies. The interactive learning environment encouraged active participation and supported participants in building confidence in their English abilities.

LCIC remains committed to supporting the professional development of Siam University faculty and staff by providing high-quality English language training that promotes international academic standards and lifelong learning.
